This is Steven King. Ms. Jean Simpson, I am so glad you brought this topic to the forefront of the S.R.P. Gazette's readers. I feel guilty every time I put a recyclable in my garbage knowing it is going to the dump. I am also glad the S.R.C. Board of Commissioners have hopefully found a temporary fix for the situation. I would be willing to even drive to the dump every two weeks and drop off recyclables if it would help the profitability of the program allowing it to survive. It would also stop the illegal items (shame on those people) dropped off at recycle sites. I also support your dissatisfaction with the S.R.C.B. of C. maybe not totally on this topic but for the lack of truthfulness in regards to the courthouse property issue. Anyway, Thank you again.
