Two students from Berryhill Elementary School, 5th graders Sara Heuer and Max Hoffman, were honored last week as recipients of the American Legion School Medal Award. This is the highest honor award the American Legion presents to youth of our nation. This award recognizes courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service.
