Dear Editor,
On Saturday, May 17, I brought my 93-year old mother to David's Catfish House in Milton. While there, a kind woman who was dining at the restaurant helped my mother in the ladies room. My mother has serious health issues and limited eyesight, so the assistance was genuinely appreciated. Since our visit, my mother has repeatedly talked about how Milton is such an attractive and pleasant city. She also has continued to mention the helpfulness that she received in the restaurant. The true character of a community is defined by the kindness shown to strangers. In a great many ways, Milton is a real gem.
