Boko Haram has led a five-year Islamic uprising in Nigeria that has taken the lives of thousands of people, both Muslim and Christian. Just this week an attack on Gamboru, which is on the border of Cameroon, took the lives of 300 people. In recent weeks Boko Haram's regime has been responsible for the kidnapping of 276 young girls and is threatening to sell them into slavery. At least 1,500 people have been killed by the regime this year alone. Nigeria is a nation of approximately 170 million people. The country is half Muslim and half Christian. The terroristic regime feels that Western influences are corrupting Nigeria and that a Muslim state must be enforced. (CNN.com)
Haram is an insane man and Nigerian government leaders must become responsible leaders and deal with him.
There is no place in this world for this kind of religion but unfortunately it is real and growing. This is a scary, inhumane, twisted, perverted mentality that dominates parts of the Middle East as well as Africa and would love to make itself comfortable in the United States. We do not need aggressive poisonous vipers in this nation. Freedom of religion is welcomed in this country. The violation of human beings is not welcomed. Hurting, defiling, killing, beating people in the name of god is not godly but is Satanic. The god these people are serving is not in heaven.
I like Jay Leno and his wife Mavis and respect them even more for the stand they are taking against the Islamic owned The Beverly Hills Hotel. The hotel's owner, the Sultan of Brunei, has imposed sharia law phase one to go into effect this week in his country. Please note Boko Haram's crimes are committed under the guise of sharia law. This essentially means that people who do not bow down to the Muslim religion or anyone who violates the Muslim religion, such as adulterers, gay men and women and those who have had abortions, will be flogged and stoned resulting in thousands of deaths. (Variety.com) Jesus prevented the stoning of a woman caught in the act of adultery when he said to the crowd "he that is without sin let him cast the first stone." (Bible, John 6.7) No one is without sin and no one should be throwing stones. Jesus didn't throw rocks at sinners. However, he did run the religious people out of the temple. (Matthew 21.12)
Leno and the Beverly Hills protestors are correct. We must not give any respect to or do any business with militant terrorists who own businesses in America. One day we will wake up and our freedom will be gone.
America cannot run to every nation and put out every fire. Ukraine, Syria, Egypt and many other places are filled with serious problems and could use our help. I don't believe we are the world's police. However, I am totally in favor of our government sending FBI, Navy Seals, or whoever to deal with Boko Haram. Mr. President, I am looking forward to hearing a breaking news report from you stating that our world no longer has to worry about Boko Haram.
