Milton City Councilman Grady Hester, Ward III announced at Tuesday’s city council regular session meeting he will not be campaigning to keep his seat.
“I want to encourage residents in the Ward III area to consider serving their city and throw their hat in the ring,” said Hester.
Hester said he’s served the city for 27 years and he’s enjoyed every minute.
“If anyone is interested in running for my seat, please consider doing so,” he said. “My service to the city is the longest entity in my life. I spent 22 years in the service, 7 years on the on the City of Milton Board of Adjustments and 20 as a city councilman,” said Hester.
