Due to continued adverse weather conditions, NAS Whiting Field will no longer resume operations today, Apr. 30. Air operations are now set to commence at normal working hours Thursday, May 1. NAS Whiting Field non-essential personnel should report for their normal shifts Thursday.
Gates will remain open for visitors who have vital business on the base. Minimal services are being provided on NAS Whiting Field. Please check with the appropriate representatives as to the status of services prior to leaving your home.
Personnel should continue to exercise extreme caution on roadways and monitor reports from news media and county offices.
Contact your chain of command if you are in an area of severe flooding or have experienced significant property damage.
