Kiwanis presents tag to county officials

Jack Culberson, President of Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis, on the left, is shown presenting the Milton Pride tag holder to Santa Rosa County Clerk of Court and Comptroller Don Spencer.   Santa Rosa County has become a "technology stand out" among the surrounding four counties he explained, by the changes made as illustrated by the  fact Santa Rosa County has become paperless, and all information can be accessed online,  which saves the county thousands of dollars a year.  Expenses over a certain amount by the county commissioners are now shown online, keeping expenditures in the open.  When asked about the location of the new courthouse, Mr. Spencer said when the voters decide the location by vote, he will back their decision.  Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all to their Wednesday 7 a.m. meeting at Tanglewood Golf Course where all are welcomed to breakfast.
