Santa Rosa County 4-H is hosting a day camp June 16 – 20 for children ages 8 to 12. Over the week, day campers will learn about the many activities Santa Rosa County 4-H has to offer throughout the year including:
· Horticulture
· Entomology
· Shooting Sports
· Wildlife
· Woodworking
· Consumer Judging
· Agriculture
· Hydroponics
· Sports Fishing
· Marine Science
The day camp is $75 per child for the week of activities. Campers can be dropped off at the Santa Rosa County Extension Office located at 6263 Dogwood Dr. between 7:30 and 8 a.m. and picked up between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Attendees need to bring a lunch, sunscreen and wear closed toed shoes each day. Activities will be offsite on June 18, 19 and 20. A complete schedule of activities will be available the first day of camp.
Space is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Reserve a space online at www.eventbrite.com/e/discovering-4-h-day-camp-tickets-11376307843. For multiple children restart the process for each child. A registration form will be emailed to each reservation. Please print, compete and return the form by Wednesday, June 4 with a $25 deposit for each child. Checks should be made payable to Santa Rosa County 4-H Association and mail to Prudence Caskey ,Santa Rosa County Extension Office 6263 Dogwood Drive, Milton.
