SRSO: Man entered Pace teen's house through bedroom window

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's office reports arresting Zachary Lee Taylor, 19, of Molino for four felony counts of lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor under sixteen years of age in Pace.

According to the report, the deputy responded to a silver GMC pickup blocking Old Guernsey Rd and contacted the registered owner who said the car belonged to their grandson, Zachary Taylor. The report said the deputy asked the registered owner to contact him to remove the vehicle.

According to the report, Taylor said he was staying with a friend. Asked his age, Taylor said nineteen. The report said Taylor arranged to meet the teen at the teen's residence and entered the house through a bedroom window without the parents' knowledge.

The deputies reported taking Taylor back to the residence and making contact with an occupant who never met Taylor. According to the report, the occupant became angry when the deputy said Taylor gained access to the house through a bedroom window and was alone with the teen.

Reports said deputies spoke with the teen who said she met Taylor on a website and invited him to the house. According to the report, the teen confirmed sexual activity with Taylor but both the teen and Taylor denied having sexual intercourse.

Deputies report Taylor said he came from Pensacola to meet the teen, confirmed what happened, and said the teen was fifteen years old, after the deputy mirandized him. He also stated he met with the teen a total of four times and on all of those occasions sexual activity took place. At the jail, the report said Taylor completed a sworn statement and false information affidavit.

According to the report, Taylor's bond was set at $5,000.
