John Adams received a plaque and recognition from Mayor Guy Thompson March 11 at the Milton City Council meeting on behalf of his wife, Martha Adams. Thompson said Martha Adams was the first female, African American employee to work with the City of Milton. Martha Adams passed away August 15, 2013.
