A Milton woman died Sunday night in an automobile accident on I-10, west of County Road 173 in Holmes County. Rebekah A. Easter, 48, was traveling westbound on I-10 when she crossed the westbound emergency stopping lane and spin when she hit the grass shoulder, reports said. The truck hit a pine tree as it entered the tree line. The car flipped up on its right side and hit a large oak tree. FHP said Easter was transported to Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay where she succumbed to her injuries and pronounced dead.
