Avalon Middle School PTO will be holding the 2014 Inaugural Knights Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 29 at Cypress Lakes Golf Club on 2365 Chemstrand Road in Cantonment. Support the school by becoming a sponsor for this event. All the money raised from this tournament will go to benefit the school. Several school groups are showing their support by becoming sponsors and have hopes for raising the money they need to upgrade and improve their departments to benefit their students. STEAM, (Science, Technology and Math), will be raising funds to purchase supplies needed to participate in area competitions, promoting science and engineering. Other groups will be raising money to provide new technology, motivational incentives and classroom supplies. The PTO hopes to raise enough to purchase a new digital sign for the school.
