This is Bill. I agree with Marion Cumbie’s letter to the editor that Santa Rosa County doesn’t need to build another courthouse. I don’t understand why the county commissioners and the City of Milton can’t pursue rebuilding the courthouse right where it’s at. It would be the cheapest and most valued place for SRC to do their court business. Thank you very much.

Hi this is Sandra. I just finished reading about the change in the person who is the editor. Two things: I want to wish Lynne Hough the very best in whatever her endeavors may be now and I want to wish Pamela Holt the very best as being the new editor. I read both of these ladies’ columns and enjoyed them very much. I hope Pamela, being the new editor, will be able to reduce the amount of errors, such as in last Saturday’s paper: the man who held up the Pace CVS when it was a CVS in Pensacola? I want to wish you the very best. I really enjoy my little Press Gazette paper. Thank you and have a blessed day.
Editor’s note: The headline of the story was a miscommunication and we take full responsibility for the error. We apologize for any confusion.

You guys printed in your paper that the tennis courts for the city were going to open on Feb 28 but it didn’t list any fees for how much it is going to cost for membership or if you’re going to play for an hour, and I know there’s a fees associated with that. Even though the taxpayers paid for it, it would be nice to print those costs where the citizens will know how much they’ll have to pay.
Editor’s note: At the time of printing, the fee information was not available. When the city releases the fee schedule it will be reported.

I think since the county commissioners decided to build the courthouse out on the property instead of building it out by the jail, I think the sales tax on the ballot should be voted down. Thank you.

This is Carl Dillenback. I’d like to thank those who’ve responded to the letter to the editor I wrote a couple of weeks ago concerning the seventh day Sabbath. Many of the questions you have asked me can be found and answered through a book I wrote called “World of Lies.” It’s available through most bookstores and online. Many asked how they can contact me. I can be contacted at P.O. Box 725 in Bagdad, 32530. Thank you for your kind comments. Amen.

I just want to know what is wrong with Pensacola. The homeless doesn’t have a blanket. How can they keep warm? We send millions to the Middle East, millions to Syria. We can’t help people here? What is wrong with Pensacola? This is Maria in Milton.

This is real short. We’re interested in learning to make soap but not if we have to take out the Speak Out column to do it. It’s the most interesting part of the paper. Thank you.
Editor’s note: Thank you very much for your comments about the Opinion page. Currently, Speak Out is printed in the Wednesday edition. Keeping it Simple column is printed in Saturday’s paper.

This is Jesse from Pace. My daughter lives in Milton. At Saratoga and Park Avenue, Saratoga Road has a big hole in it close to her house. She hit it and messed her truck up. I need the city to get it fixed please. Thank you.
