Speak out for February 5
Monday 8:06 a.m.
Hi this is Steven. Baraq Obama says he has a pen and a phone. Now he has the proper tools to achieve. He can use the phone to call Governor Scott Walker of WI and the pen to type notes.
Thursday 10:35 a.m.
This is Hal from Pace. I wonder if this is conspiracy, it sure is a reality. As of Jan 1 of this year, taxes on gasoline has gone up in Okaloosa and Escambia county by .10 cents per gallon. No tax increase detailed for Santa Rosa County. However, why did our gasoline in SRC go up to .10 or more as they did in the other counties? I wonder if someone is making just a little bit extra money.
Thursday 2:39 p.m.
This is Bill. When are the county commissioners going to wake up and decide how to four lane highway 90? It's been over two days now and traffic is from East Milton going into Milton on Highway 90 is backed up all the way to Highway 87 and Ward Basin. is I wish the county commissioners would wake up and decide how to four lane highway 90. Every time there is a weather issue or hurricane we have a traffic jam on highway 90.
Thursday 2:56 p.m.
Thank you for hearing my concern in reference to the purposed location of the courthouse. I started to agree with the Press Gazette and the Pensacola News Journal and others who suggested the location in East Milton. I was employed in management by an local industrial plant that stressed cost reduction in financial management. In order for our operation to be successful and profitable, it's just not good economics to buy property when there's property available at no cost. I respectfully ask the county commissioners to reconsider and support the east Milton location. I will not vote for a tax increase for a new courthouse other than East Milton. Thank you very much.
Friday 8:27 a.m.
Amanda Knox should stay in the US and should not be sent to Italy or anywhere else. I think she is innocent and her boyfriend is innocent. I think the Italian government should let these people go. It is so much political. I think this other girl has a lot of money and is paying the Italian government. This is Maria in Milton.
Friday 8:59 a.m.
This is Judy. I just want to say the heart of every town is the courthouse. The heart of Milton is not in East Milton it's in downtown Milton. Thank goodness with the bridges closed we didn't have a so-called courthouse over there. I also want to say thank you to the Press Gazette for giving us the opportunity to speak out. Thank you.
Friday 6:25 p.m.
This is Dennis. It appears that our government is spying on us. Is it legal? I guess the excuse is that we spy on you because we want to protect you. I have a bad feeling about all of this NSA spying.
Friday 7:06 p.m.
Hey this is Dennis. Legalizing illegal Mexicans. it sounds good. If you have a heart, let's do it. These poor illegal Mexicans, let's have some compassion. OK. Legalize ten or twelve million. Then twenty million cross the boarder illegally cross the boarder.. Let's legalize those. Then we have forty million cross the boarder. Where do we start enforcing the law? We are a country who enforces the law, aren't we?
Saturday 2:13 p.m.
This is Joanne in Pace. Mr. Carl Dillenback, your comments on Sabbath were very, very good. Even my messianic rabbi was pleased with what you had to say. I am looking forward again to hearing what you have to say on God's appointed times, His feast and fast days. Eagerly looking forward to them. Thank you again. God Bless you.
Saturday 5:25 p.m.
This is Bobby. I didn't see any speak out in Saturday's paper. I was really just calling to see if you still had it. We don't need you to do away with it. It's very interesting.
Sunday 4:05 p.m.
No matter where they're going to be held again, the Super bowl. Nobody do like Whitney Houston again. No matter what. With the angels in heaven, Whitney Houston will supervise with the angels in heaven during the Super bowl tonight. God bless her. Thank you to her family, for letting us have her for many, many years. Thank you Whitney, from heaven. Thank you.
