Bobby Green led the Panthers to a win over conference rival Washington High School 51-48. Green led Milton with 19 points and 7 rebounds with Darrick Johnson adding 12 points and 7 rebounds.
Green hit half of his three point attempts and also his free throw attempts. He also had one block and one steal against Washington.
Johnson hit 67% of his free throw attempts and had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
The Panthers went to the free throw line 20 times during the night. Andre Flakes shot 7 of those attempts capitalizing on 2 of them. Flakes finished the game with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assists and 2 steals.
Kyle Napier hit 100% of his free throw attempts for the Panthers.
The Panthers defensive quick hands resulted in 11 steals for the game.
Nick Jackson 4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Alec Riley 4 points and 2 rebounds. Alyies Cooper 1 rebound and 1 steal. Zane Lowe 1 steal. Demetric Rambo 1 rebound and 1 assists.
Milton has been defeated by non-conference Gulf Breeze and against Washington High School.
The Panthers will travel to Pine Forest Dec. 13 and then to rival Pace High on Dec.13 where the Milton ninth grade boys team as well as the junior varsity and varsity will all play.
