Junior MaKayla Simmons and freshman Haley Gauthier joined forces against the Baker Gators as the Jaguars won 50-37 at Central.
Down by one point at the end of the first quarter, the Jaguars went into half time with a 23-15 lead and never looked back.
M. Simmons scored 22 points and Gauthier added a sweet 19 points. Together they combined for 41 of the Jaguar’s 50 points.
Sarah Smith chipped in 7 points and Sylvia Balk added 2.
M. Simmons also had 14 rebounds and 6 assists and Gauthier grabbed 13 rebounds.
The Jaguar junior varsity girls also defeated the Baker Gators.
The Lady Jaguars then fell to Paxton at Paxton in a conference game 59-27.
M. Simmons is averaging 16.4 points per game with 8 rebounds per game. Gauthier is averaging 10.8 points per game with an average 7.6 points per game.
The Jaguars played at home, Dec. 7 against Bethlehem.
