All six Santa Rosa County high school bands will march in the Nov. 11 Veteran’s Day Parade, held in Milton. That’s the word from parade organizers.
Ralph Nesenson, Veteran’s Memorial Foundation, says they are in the planning stages for the parade and ceremony. The parade will begin between 9:45 and 10 a.m. The Veteran’s Day ceremony will commence at 11 after the parade.
The guest speaker is Capt. Richard Cantone. The annual Veteran’s Day cookout will be provided by the Santa Rosa County 4-H following the ceremony.
The parade route is as follows: Parade will start at Milton High, north parking lot on Hobbs St. It will travel south on Stewart St. to Berryhill Rd., then east to Willing St., south across Hwy. 90 to Pine St.
If your organization would like to be in the parade, please contact Nesenson at 626-7292 or 313-6637 to sign up.
