The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) State Materials Office will perform pavement testing along Interstate 10 from the Escambia River Bridge to east of State Road (S.R.) 281 ( Avalon Boulevard) and from east of S.R. 87 to the Okaloosa County line, in Santa Rosa County Monday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 24. This will be a slow moving operation. Traffic may encounter minor delays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone and to watch for construction equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
