Santa Rosa County Libraries is celebrating Teen Read Week™, October 13-19, with a special event aimed at encouraging teens to read for the fun of it. This year’s event will offer teens the opportunity to meet Jerrad Vunovich, a 19-year-old local actor who has had parts in the science-fiction adventure film “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” based on Suzanne Collins' novel, Catching Fire; the spoof “The Starving Games,” and the movie “42.” Teen Read Week™ is a time to celebrate reading for fun while encouraging teens to take advantage of reading in all its forms —books, magazines, e-books, audiobooks and more – all available at your local library.
