The Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners will interview five firms who submitted architectural services proposals for tennis courts at Benny Russell Park Thursday, Oct. 10 at 1:30 p.m. in the commission meeting room located at 6495 Caroline Street in Milton. The public is invited to attend.
The proposed project, which would improve tennis facilities in Pace by utilizing undeveloped space at Benny Russell Park, includes four 78 foot courts, four quick start courts without lights, and a 2,000 square foot building to house restrooms, offices, concessions, walkways and additional parking.
The project layout, design and permitting are complete and a request for proposals was advertised with seven firms submitting proposals for architectural services. Once a firm is selected, funding for the contract and construction costs will come before the board for approval at a later date.
