An altercation took place during a home invasion in a Pace home, sending one woman to the hospital around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office.
Two black men invaded a home on Tuscany Way, in the Terra Bella subdivision off of Berryhill Road. They entered the home through an open garage, then opened the laundry room door. They were confronted by the resident who fought back.
The invaders fled the area on foot. No items were taken as a result of the invasion.
The victim was released from the hospital the same day.
