Three men wearing masks, armed with tire irons, allegedly attacked one victim after a music event at a local bowling alley in Pace, around 1:15 a.m. Aug. 18, according to a Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office report.
The three men, who were attempting to start fights with other people in the parking lot, approached the victim. According to the report, the victim, a local music promoter that was hosting an event at Oops Alley asked the three men to leave the premises, and they complied.
Dakota Cranford, 19, Pace; Corey Curncutt, 18, Pace; and Tyler Green, 18, Pensacola; returned to the parking lot wearing masks and two of them were holding tire irons, according to the report. One of the men struck the victim with the weapon, sending him to the ground. Deputies say the man dropped the tire iron, got on top of the victim and proceeded to strike with his fists.
The victim said he received a large gash in his head, requiring nine staples. When deputies arrived, he was covered in blood, holding a towel to his head.
Cranford was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and wearing a mask to conceal identity. He was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $1,500 bond. Curncutt was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery and wearing a mask to conceal identity. He was issued a $20,500 bond. Green was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and battery. He is in jail on a $1,500 bond.
