Every Wednesday and Saturday morning at 11 a.m., Barnes & Noble hosts a free storytime designed for children ages two through seven. Everyone is welcome to join as we sing, dance, read stories and do arts and crafts. Watch the calendar for special storytimes, which can include pajama days, dress-up storytimes, and visits from our favorite storybook characters.
Upcoming stories include:
July 10th: “Watermelon Seed” –With perfect comic pacing, Greg Pizzoli introduces us to one funny crocodile who has one big fear: swallowing a watermelon seed. What will he do when his greatest fear is realized? Will vines sprout out his ears? Will his skin turn pink?
July 13th: “When a Dragon Moves In” – One day at the beach, a boy brings his bucket, shovel and imagination and builds a sand castle. Right away, a dragon moves in and the adventures begin.
July 17th: “Press Here” -Each page of this surprising book instructs the reader to press the dots, shake the pages, tilt the book, and who knows what will happen next!
