Story time for children continues at Barnes and Nobles

Every Wednesday and Saturday morning at 11 a.m., Barnes & Noble hosts a free story time designed for children aged two through seven. Everyone is welcome to join as we sing, dance, read stories and do arts and crafts.  Watch the calendar for special story times, which can include pajama days, dress-up story times, and visits from our favorite storybook characters.

Upcoming stories include:

June 12th: “The Lucky Blue Angel” – Pensacola’s favorite pilots, the Blue Angels, are coming to make story time even more fun.  Blue Angel pilots will be in the store reading the story and making paper airplanes with the kids.

June 14th: “Hop on Pop” – In a special Friday night pre-Father’s day event, children are encouraged to bring dad to story time for Daddy and me story time.

June 15th: “When Dad’s Don’t Grow Up” – Father-child pairs spend happy, silly times together, popping bubble wrap, watching cartoons and taking part in shopping cart races.

June 19th: “Have You Seen My New Blue Socks?” – The irresistible tale of a small duck that waddles through the countryside, searching for his blue socks.

June 22nd: “Ollie & Claire” – Ollie and Claire are as tight as two friends can be, but when Claire longs to traveling the world, she worries Ollie won't join her.

June 26th: “Lazy Daisy, Cranky Frankie” -This quirky, rhyming picture book about farm animals behaving badly will have children and adults alike laughing out loud.
