MILTON— A 37-year-old man today was convicted by a Santa Rosa County jury of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 12.
Joseph Glen Savicki was sentenced to a mandatory 25 years in state prison and has been designated as a sexual predator, according to a State Attorney’s Office release.
Savicki was found guilty after his May 23 trial of molesting a five-year-old girl while renting a room at the child’s mother’s home. The Milton man enticed the child into his bedroom with watch a movie and molested her while she was in the bedroom with him.
The incident was reported by the child’s mother, the report said.
The case was investigated by the Milton Police Department and was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Stephanie Pace.
