The Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 566 will be giving the first 50 purple heart veterans and free tickets to sign up for the Blue Wahoos game on Purple Heart Day, August 7. In order to receive this offer you must purchase a regular ticket at the cost of $28 and sign up through Chapter 566. Deadline for this offer is July 20 or when the first 50 tickets are taken. Governor Scott has Proclaimed 7 August, "Florida Purple Heart Day", a day to honor all Purple Heart Veterans.
The Blue Wahoo’s will be honoring attending Purple Heart Recipients at this game and will be recognizing each individual by name before the game. The free ticket and the purchased tickets will include an all you can eat buffet and a Blue Wahoo’s hat. Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 566, holds a meeting at 5300 Hwy 90 West in Pace (West Milton Church of Christ) the third Saturday of each month. Meeting starts at 11 a.m. All Purple Heart Recipients and their spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend. Join us April 20 for a meeting and good food served by the Ladies Auxiliary Military Order of the Purple Heart following the meeting.
