The 4th annual Arc Santa Rosa Inc. "Blueberry Bash" will be Saturday, June 22nd from 8:00 until 2:00 and will be held at The Arc facility at 6225 Dixie Road in Milton – which is approximately 4 miles South of NAS Whiting Field on Highway 87. We will have many local Arts, Crafts, Food and other vendors offering a variety of items along with Fresh Blueberries and a Plant Sale hosted by The Arc’s Garden Center. There will be a large children's activity area plus entertainment provided by local artists throughout the day!
Everyone is invited to participate in the 5K Fun Run, which will kick off the day with registration beginning at 6:30 am and the race at 7:30 am. Pre-registration for the 5K Run will begin soon. This is a timed run. All registrants will receive t-shirts, with prizes going to the first, second and third place winners in select groups. Interested runners can call The Arc at 623-9320.
We have acres of blueberries that we will be showcasing during this event! Make plans to come out and pick some with your family!
Outside spaces are still available for vendors to participate. Spaces are 10'x10' and priced at $40.00 for products and $50 for food vendors. The deadline to reserve a space is June 1st. Contact Debbie Goss at (850) 995-8806 if you are interested in participating as a vendor.
The Arc Santa Rosa, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that serves adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of the people that we serve also possess secondary disabilities such as hearing, visual and physical impairments, which reduce their chances to live an autonomous life in our community. Our essential services such as Supported Employment, Supported Living, Adult Day Training, and In-home Support, facilitate their ability to live as independently as they possibly can. Proceeds from this event will go towards providing these and extracurricular activities to the individuals that we serve.
