Two Milton men were arrested Thursday afternoon, charged with burglary after Santa Rosa Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress call.
Several marked patrol deputies and uncover deputies responded to a building on Simpson St in Milton – just outside the city limits behind McKenzie Motors – when the call came in. Kevin Duane Enfinger, 18, and Carey Eugene Copeland, 20, fled on foot as law enforcement arrived. After a search of the area, they were located hiding in the wood near the crime scene.
Copeland, whose address was reported as Simpson St., was charged with burglary to an unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief/property damage 200 dollars and under, as was Enfinger. Bond on each man was set at $10,250.00.
