First Baptist Church women’s ministry The Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Church in Milton will host “Busyness, Dizziness, God’s Business on Feb. 1-2. The annual women’s gathering aims to renew those who may be losing heart. Speaker for the event is veteran conference and retreat leader Cyndi Grace, a resident of Clinton, Miss. She is a graduate of Mississippi College in Clinton and holds an advanced certificate degree in women’s ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Grace will speak on Philippians 3:10. The Women’s Ensemble from Baptist College of Florida in Graceville will lead worship under the direction of Buford Cox. Sessions begin at 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, and interpretation for the deaf will be available. The evening session will be followed by a coffee fellowship in the “Fig Leaf Coffee Shop” in the Family Life Center. The conference fee is $10. Advance ticket reservations is suggested. Baha’is to observe World Religion Day The Baha’is of Santa Rosa County will observe World Religion Day on Sunday, Jan. 20. World Religion Day was initiated in 1950 by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the United States. It is observed on the third Sunday in January by Baha’is and increasingly by people around the globe to foster understanding and communication between the followers of all religions. The purpose of World Religion Day is to call attention to the harmony of spiritual principles and the oneness of the world’s religions and to emphasize that religion is the motivating force for world unity.
