The Dragonfly Gallery, 5188 Escambia St. in Milton, offers the following classes:
SOFT, MEDIUM, & HARD PASTELS Artist Elaine Woodward will teach pastels, techniques, papers and subject matter from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays. Students may bring lunch or a snack. $15 per session for members of the Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation members, $20 for nonmembers. BASKET WEAVING The January class will be the Pie Carrier Basket, taught by Mary Ellen Shugart. Class will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers along with $10 for supplies.
OILS FOR BEGINNERS Jean Norris will teach from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. second and fourth Wednesdays. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch. $20 for Foundation members, $25 for nonmembers.
OIL PAINTING Sandra Horn will teach from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 29. A list of supplies will be available at the gallery. $20 for Foundation members, $25 for nonmembers.
