Santa Rosa welcomes first baby of 2013

Tanner Wade Blackwood was born at 7:11 a.m. Tuesday to a Navarre couple at Santa Rosa Medical Center. In the Baby Suite on the third floor of the medical center, Jessica Blackwood and Tosa Cutler were given two large blue baskets on Wednesday full of blankets, diapers, Winnie the Pooh booties and other baby supplies. Tanner was the first baby born in Santa Rosa County in 2013. At 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches long, Tanner is now the third boy of the family. He has two older brothers: Carter, 11 months, and Gavin, 3½. Doctor Sue George delivered Tanner and the labor was about seven hours. The Santa Rosa Medical Center Auxiliary donated the gifts given to the family.
