The Navarre Garden Club will hold their monthly general membership meeting on Jan 8. The meeting will be held at the Tuscan Grill, Hidden Creek Golf Club. Social time begins at 9 a.m. and the meeting starts at 9:15 Guest speakers are a part of each monthly meeting. January’s speaker is Dan Mullins. He served seven years as the Escambia County Extension Horticultural Agent and 22 years as the Santa Rosa County Extension Horticulture Agent. This month’s topic is “Unplugged”, a discussion of a variety of horticultural experiences throughout his career. Many activities for members are schedule throughout the month of January. An Arbor Day tree planting ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 18. Members may also participate in teaching Jr. Garden Club classes, a floral design group and a horticulture study group during the month.
