The Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Community Rooms of the West Florida Rehabilitation Institute, 8391 N. Davis Highway in Pensacola. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 when the topic will be “Volunteering in the New Year” presented by Susan Grundhoefer, M.Ed., Resource Facilitation Coordinator, TBI Resource and Support Center. The Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group offers support and the latest information about TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) for current and former brain injury patients, their families, and others in the community who suffered a TBI. Area professionals who treat brain injury patients will be available at the session to answer questions and provide education about recovery. The session is free, and registration is not required.
