Bridges to Circles offering volunteer training Catholic Charities Bridges to Circles initiative presents a four week training series that will equip volunteers to serve as an ally for family moving from poverty to self-sufficiency. The training will be held at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Ave Maria hall 1212 East Moreno Street, Pensacola on Jan. 8 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Bridges to Circles is a transformational initiative that partners community volunteers with families wanting to make the journey out of poverty. Heart of God Church Ministries The Heart of God Church Ministries is asking for donations of gently worn clothes to their Clothes Closet Outreach Ministry. The clothes at the Clothes Cloest are given to the community. All clothing will be greatly appreciated, especially boys clothes in all sizes. The Heart of God Clothes Closet is open from 9 a.m. – noon on Wednesday and they are located across from Whatabuger on Stewart St. For more information call 983-2009.

Grace Community Church of Northwest Florida A small group is negotiating with Grace of Sun Valley to send a graduate of The Masters Seminary to the Pensacola area to pastor a local church. Bible-believing Christians who appreciate in-depth Bible teaching using proper hermeneutics of Bible interpretation as taught by John MacArthur of Grace Community Church of Sun Valley, Calif., are encouraged to attend. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Winter Bazaar vendors wanted St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Milton is making preparations for its annual Winter Bazaar and Craft Show on Dec. 7-8. Milton Sister Church invitation to pray for Newton CT As pastor of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Milton, Fl., I would like to invite everyone to a Holy Hour and Novena for Peace for the parish of St. Rose of Lima, Newton, CT., for those who lost their lives and for their families and friends. As our “sister parish” we should support them with our prayers during this extremely difficult time. The Holy Hour and Novena will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima, 6451 Park Avenue, Milton, Fl. starting on Monday, December 17th until Monday, December 24th with concluding prayers at the Mass on Christmas Day, which is at 10 am. The Holy Hour will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. If one is not able to make it to the Holy Hour at the Church, then please pray with us at home, work, school, etc. to be in prayerful solidarity with those struggling with this tragedy. If one is not able to make it to the Church from 9:30 until 10:30 am, please know that the prayer chapel is open from 8 am until 5 pm each day.
