Pace Athletic Recreation Association will present a candlelight vigil for the victims at Newtown, Conn., at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the PARA Football Complex in Pace. The Rev. Wayne Blocker of Community of Christ church in Milton will say a few words at 6:30, followed by singing by Suzannah Henderson, who also will lead the crowd in singing “Silent Night.” Blocker will close the vigil with a prayer. The PARA Football Complex is at 4280 Woodbine Road across from Beef ‘O’ Brady’s. Monetary donations will be accepted for the victims’ families.
