Grandpa's First Christmas Grandpa’s First Christmas, an original drama inspired by Paul Harvey’s classic Christmas short story, “The Man and the Birds,” will be presented by Bay Area Vineyard Church at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 in Milton. Grandpa Jake Wilson, also known as the Professor, doesn’t buy into the Christmas story about God coming to Earth as a man. Foregoing the Christmas Eve service with his family, he has a life-changing encounter with some birds and his granddaughter. With just the right mixture of comedy, apologetics, and thought-provoking drama, playwright and pastor, Darrell Chatraw, has captured the wonder of the Christmas story. Bridges to Circles offering volunteer training Catholic Charities Bridges to Circles initiative presents a four week training series that will equip volunteers to serve as an ally for family moving from poverty to self-sufficiency. Heart of God Church Ministries The Heart of God Church Ministries is asking for donations of gently worn clothes to their Clothes Closet Outreach Ministry.
