Yes I just want to say President Obama need to do his job and I think he is doing it. I don't think any other party should be picking at him. If he is not so good why did he win the election. Let President Obama do his job. The people picked him for four more years. Let it be.

Yes, I would like to make mention our county school board and school superintendent agreed to enter into a contract on the tennis courts in Milton for $320,000 when we have a shortfall. They are telling the schools and school personnel we need to cut back and possibly drop programs including athletics. Why would the county agree to help pay for $320,000 according to the television to benefit Milton High School. We have 26 other schools who might want tennis courts. I don't know why they singled out this school. Something is not quite balanced in their logic.
Editor's note: In the agreement the tennis courts are not just for Milton High School, but W.H. Rhodes Elementary and the two middle schools in Milton as well. This plan was talked about the last part of 2011 or the first part of this year in the Press Gazette and how they got a USTA grant to also help cover the expenses for this project.

Hi this is George. I just got done reading the Dec. 5 Speak Out. I think this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. They get so confused in their comments. They need to find something else to do since many of them make no sense whatsoever except Popeye. Bye.

Hey Jeff here. There is money out there and the government is offering the stimulus to help us, but it is up to the state to accept the money at this point. Governor Scott won't accept the extra money for Medicaid, unemployment extensions, food stamps, and other such programs. It is not Obama taking it, it is Governor Scott not taking the help for the people.

Hey this is Jeff. Thanks Gene for your comeback. I don't understand what Obama is taking away. My mom in 1991 lost her job at 58 years of age and only got $13 a month so she was in the same situation as your wife. I have been unemployed for two years and I have to fight for what little I get. He is not taking anything away. Come on now.

This is George. The East Milton covered arena is a wonderful idea. There is so much money spent on other parts of this county it is time for some to be spent in East Milton. This is in a great location and would be a big help to East Milton. We might get some new businesses here. I am sure it will be well used.

This is Cynthia. I whole-heartedly support the covered arena part of the Agri-Plex project for East Milton. An enormous amount of money leaves our county since we have nothing to hold events. This would be a win-win situation.

I am a hurt Santa Rosan. I said I wouldn't qualify to work in Santa Rosa County, but I qualify for them to take my taxes. Boy isn't that a predicament.

Yes my name is Gina and I live on Berryhill Rd. between Stewart St. and Dogwood Dr. I would like to inform those who put trash in the back of their trucks that the garbage fairies don't clean it up. It blows out and into everyone's yard. They are the ones who clean it up. Next time you are at the store, put your trash in a bag and tie it in a knot and then throw it away when you get home.

Hi this message is for all the voters who are registered, it doesn't matter if you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent. This fiscal cliff will involve all of us – Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. I suggest you call your representative and senators to quit playing games with our future. Thank you.
