Red Nose Run 2012

Runners it is time to register for the Red Nose Run 5K Run, Walk, Roll or Fun Mile. The event will be Dec. 1 at 8 a.m. and start at In-Line Fitness on Woodbine Rd. in Pace. This family event will offer additional prizes for participants with the best costume, craziest socks, and funniest hats. ABATE Toy-Run

The Gulf Coast Chapter of ABATE of Florida, Inc., will host its 17th Annual Toy Run at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium. Registration beings at 9 a.m. and kickstands will go up at 11 a.m. This will be an escorted ride throughout Santa Rosa County. The cost is $10 per bike and $10 for the co-rider along with one unwrapped toy per person. Dinner will be available after the ride for $5 per person. Trophy's will be given for best dresses Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elf, best decorated bike, and best decorated four wheeled vehicle. Donations to benefit CHIPS Kids, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Hadju Shriners, Catholic Youth Services, Marine Toys for Tots, Santa Rosa Kids House and more. For more information call 324-7529.

Pensacola Christmas Parade Dash

The Pensacola Runners Association will host the Downtown Parade Christmas Dash on Dec. 8, 2012 at 5 p.m. on Palafox St. The one-mile fun run is to kick off the Pensacola Downtown Christmas Parade. The first 350 to register will receive a Santa Hat with blinking LED lights. Costumes are strongly encouraged. There will be a first place prize to the overall male and female finishers. Also the school with the most pre-registered participants will win a $250 cash prize. For more information call 572-3625.

Pace High Quarterback Club to sell memorial bricks

The Pace High Quarterback Club has started selling personalized brick pavers for $100 each as a program fundraiser. The new walkway will start at the Shack and led towards the home side stands. Milton Wrestling Booster Club

The Milton High School Wrestling Booster Club is seeking support for a t-shirt fundraiser. The program is selling spaces on the back of its season t-shirt being worn by all the wrestlers and you will receive a t-shirt to display in your business or for personal use.
