The USA is not what it was five years ago. A country you could be proud of, but when Barack Hussein Obama says we are not a Christian nation and apologizes for us, and does not protect the people that are keeping us free, that is not something to be proud of. The American born people had very little to say in this election. The pouring of Illegasl (criminals) that all of a sudden became legal, right. Keeping God out of school, etc. He has put our country into so much debt, our children and grandchildren will be paying for the rest of their lives and then he wants to punish the hard working, tax paying people by giving to the lazy people that don't want to work, and they believe it is him that is giving it to them…what a joke…yes he made change and now more that half Americans want him to go forward with the same —- but one thing he can not take away is God in our lives, so keep praying. Fay.

Get over it, Dennis, Raymond, Amber and Don – Obama won a landslide electoral college victory of 332 to 206, won the popular vote by almost three million votes, and won every major demographic except white males. Show a little class, folks – he is our lawful President and deserves our respect and our support…especially if you want our country to unite in healing its wounds and fixing our many problems.

I agree that folks have a right to their own opinions, but I don't think the Santa Rosa Press Gazette should publish falsehoods masquerading as opinion. The facts are, Obama will not give you a free monthly check, free housing, free food, free healthcare, free sex, free contraceptives or free abortions. The fact is, Romney did not win the popular vote – Obama won by well over two million votes. The fact is, Obama is a natural born citizen and he has provided a legitimate birth certificate. Santa Rosa Press Gazette, please stop publishing lies about the President of our country – it confuses the ignorant and encourages the crazies. Pete.

Editor's note: This is a place where people can speak their opinion. We never said what they are saying it true, but it is their feelings and their opinion, just like this was yours.

Hi this is Monica. I wanted to know how many people are tired about hearing of Hurricane Sandy. I know I am tired. I lost a house to flooding and another time it was damaged by fire. A couple of years ago I lived with no light or power during the winter. No one put me on the news about it. Lets all get over it. There are a lot of people across the country like this. No one has put forth the same effort for the homeless.

This is Mary the senior citizen. This is in regards to the Speak Out last week about the hunters dropping off animals up in Blackwater State Forest. A lot of these animals have been out for a long time. They are wide and you cannot get close to them. PAWS won't come and get the dog unless it is tied up and cats have to be in a cage. It is not much of a choice when hunters throw out these animals. The bottom line is people need to take care of their animals.

My name is Jane. If Dennis can't live on $35,000 a year he needs someone to manage his money for him. I am sure a lot of people on welfare would like to swap places with him. Tell him to try it form a month and see what he really receives. Thank you.

Saturday, 5:04 p.m.

Hi this is Joe. I was reading in the paper where the tax collector refunded the county over $500,000. Couldn't they take and give to the bus service so people have a way back and forth to work. Thank you.

Saturday, 4:39 p.m.

I am calling about the election. Even then, I wonder what the people feel about Obama and his family using all the government airplanes to fly all over the place and who pays for it? When Obama goes one way his wife and kids go another. It costs millions to travel. Is anyone going to hold him or someone accountable for the stuff he has pulled. He asked for four more years and said you know me, yet that is not enough. He has borrowed more money than can ever be printed.

Saturday, 2:16 p.m.

This is Robin, The county commission can give $400,000 to TEAM Santa Rosa for what we don't know. But it cannot give out $24,000 to keep the buses going. Now you know who the have and have-nots. You also know how much the haves think of the have-nots.

This is an open comment to hunters. Well there are no deer around me anymore where I live. I won't have to worry about fawns without their mommas. I hope the hunters shoot the babies when they shoot the does so they won't have to starve to death. I don't think so much of a man to be so heartless. I haven't seen them myself, but I was told there were piles of fawns in the woods. The game wardens won't do anything about it as long as it is legal in the state of Florida.

Saturday, 9:46 a.m.

This is Bob. Can you explain to me why the city did away with the safety and fire inspections? We have a bunch of old buildings that need to be inspected. You need to check into this.

Friday, 2:20 p.m.

This is Bill from Pace. After the vote on Nov. 6 it is clear to me we all live in a welfare state. The people did not vote for what was in the best interest of our county, but what was in the best for them. Obviously their free stuff is more important then the constitution. Ben Franklin said it best, "When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will mark the end of the republic."

Thursday, 8:14 a.m.

Morning, this is Billy Rogers up in Blackwater. In response to Dennis and Dana trying to make excuses for the real sportsmen. Both were quick to point out they are Christians and believe in the Bible. I too am a Christian, but I do not go to someone's house. These real sportsmen come down to my house, walk around my fence with their spotlights at 4 a.m. and stay till 7:30 p.m. They get my dogs barking and I cannot sleep and they hunt so close to my property I cannot hunt. Yes I do feed the deer. I have done that for 18 years. Anyone can leech off someone else. I don't go to their house and bother you so why do you insist on coming to mine and bothering me.
