Pumpkin Patch Christ United Methodist Church is hosting its annual Pumpkin Patch. The Pumpkin Patch is now open and will run through Oct. 30. The hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily. You can purchase pumpkins and gourds. You can also take pictures in the picture area and let the kids enjoy a hayrides.
Catholic Charities of NWF announce 30th Annual Jewel of the Gulf Gala The Regional Board of Directors for Northwest Florida’s Catholic Charities announced the 30th Annual Jewel of the Gulf Gala will be held Oct. 13, at New World Landing in Pensacola from 6 -10 p.m. The event features heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by celebrated Chef Nick Farkas, dancing to the show band, Figure Eight, and the opportunity to bid on vacation packages; fine jewelry; sports memorabilia; and assorted gift items at the silent and live auctions. This support allows Catholic Charities to carry out the social mission of the Catholic Church of Northwest Florida to serve, to empower, and to advocate for vulnerable families and individuals of any race, religion, or national origin through family strengthening programs. Temple Beth El Temple Beth El of Pensacola will install its new Rabbi, Joel Fleekop on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in the main sanctuary of our facility. Rabbi Joel and his educator wife Andrea have made Gulf Breeze their home. They are happily settling into the community and are attracting young families via the innovative programs they organize. Family and Friends Day Isaiah Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church will host its annual Family and Friends Day on Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Kenneth Kidd, pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Evergreen, Ala. During the program, there will be a tribute to members Mary Rhodes, Elizabeth Brewton, and Mary Bell Hill, who are being honored for their dedication and support of the church over the years. Calvary Baptist Church Fall Festival Calvary Baptist Church will host its fall festival on Oct. 27 from 4 p.m. until ?. The fall festival will feature free food, a hay ride, pony rides, bluegrass music, arts and crafts, face painting, bounce house, checkers, dominoes, life size chest game, volleyball, a bonfire and much more. St. Mary's Episcopal Church Winter Bazaar vendors wanted St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Milton is making preparations for its annual Winter Bazaar and Craft Show on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8.
