Mary and Joseph Leddy of Milton, would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Marilyn Marie Leddy and her fiancé, Joshua Edmund Smith. The couple met in Pensacola where they both currently reside. The birde graduated from Milton High School in 2001. The groom is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and attended Thomas Jefferson High School. Leddy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi and now works as a Corporate Travel and Marketing Representative for Columbia Southern University. Smith graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Northern Iowa and will soon graduate with his Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from The University of West Florida. He currently works as an Instructional Designer for Columbia Southern University. The couple became engaged Dec. 30, 2011 at Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile, Ala., and they have been planning a fall wedding to be held, Oct. 27 in Navarre.
