Tastee Freez, a.k.a. Big T, is getting a facelift in Milton. It was announced back in July by the store’s owner Mike Thomas that the store would be getting a structural overhaul. The remodel will make dining more comfortable for its customers, Thomas said. Major among the changes will be a completely new façade on the front of the restaurant. The reconstruction will shift the major entrance of the restaurant from the side as it is now, to the front. The renovations permit set of plans, drawn by Dalrymple Sallis Architects of Pensacola, also features an outdoor patio that will seat approximately 36 guests. Also, the drive-in will be reconstructed slightly to make it easier for Tastee Freez’s employees to serve its customers.
